We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever their abilities or the technology they use. This statement explains what we do, and how to get help if you need it.
01Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a working standard. Accessibility is treated as part of quality, not an add-on, and is considered whenever we update the site.
02What we have done
- clear, readable typography with sensible sizing and spacing;
- strong colour contrast using our brand palette, tested for legibility;
- a consistent, logical heading structure on every page;
- visible keyboard focus so the site can be navigated without a mouse;
- descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images;
- a layout that adapts to phones, tablets and desktops; and
- respect for the "reduce motion" setting on your device.
03Known limitations
We know some areas can still be improved, and we are working on them. If you come across something that is hard to use, please tell us — real feedback is the fastest way for us to fix it.
04Getting help or another format
If you need information from this site in a different format — for example large print, plain text or an accessible document — contact us and we will do our best to help.
Contact us: hello@betteralta.com. Please tell us the page and what you were trying to do, and we will respond as quickly as we can.
05Feedback and review
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website and review this statement regularly as the site develops.
